Need Help?

Please reach out to our registration support.

The Northwest Climate Conference (NWCC) is committed to building equity and inclusion in climate science and policy, and to supporting equitable climate adaptation outcomes. If you would like to participate in the 2021 NWCC but find that the registration fee poses a barrier, please apply for a scholarship. NWCC offers these scholarships as part of our effort to promote an inclusive and welcoming experience for all members of the Northwest community, including typically underrepresented voices. Because those funds are limited, we request that you write 2-3 sentences describing your interest in the conference and how this scholarship would benefit you. We will begin reviewing applications as they come in on a rolling basis. Please expect to hear back about the status of your application within one week of submitting. If your scholarship request is accepted, you will receive a unique discount code to use during registration checkout that will bring your cost down to $0.00.

We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate in any conference venue, including talks or networking events.. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to a person's sexgender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or approach to climate adaptation and mitigation. Harassment also includes posting sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expelling this person from the conference with no refund. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of conference staff immediately at the help desk in the event platform Swapcard. Conference staff will be happy to assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.
